AEM Developer

As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our current operating platforms while collaborating with the application development team to seamlessly integrate new applications into our network. Your responsibilities will include leading projects that extend and enhance the AEM platform by translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, defining the scope of development, and interacting with clients to provide technical expertise in AEM development and implementation. You will be expected to ensure well-written code adhering to industry standards, review application code, troubleshoot code-level problems efficiently, and provide constructive feedback. To excel in this role, you should possess 5+ years of AEM implementation experience and expertise in Apache Sling, Java Content Repository, OSGi, and Apache Felix. Your ability to define components, dialogs, Sling Models, architect Java services, and integrate 3rd party services with AEM will be crucial. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as SASS, HTL, and JavaScript Frameworks is necessary, along with the capability to define, set up, and configure an AEM Dispatcher. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to interface directly with customers, lead technical discussions, and convey complex technical concepts professionally. A solid understanding of AEM Assets, a Computer Science degree or equivalent, and certification as an AEM architect are desired qualifications. Ideally, we would love to see expertise in AEM Component Development, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, and experience in conceptualizing, designing, building, and deploying Adobe CQ5/AEM 6.x solutions. Proficiency in backend Java, JSP, Servlets, J2EE with Spring, OOP, design patterns, as well as frontend CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript Frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, is highly valued. Experience in leveraging the broader Adobe Experience Cloud stack is a plus, as well as the ability to lead blended teams, coach junior members, and interact effectively with executives and project partners.
