Perform initial processing of specimens, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and storage, according to laboratory protocols. Accurately document specimen information, including receipt, handling, and testing status, in laboratory information systems. Maintain detailed records of specimen tracking, including chain-of-custody documentation and quality control logs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory policies regarding specimen documentation and handling. Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain specimen integrity and prevent contamination. Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to specimen quality or documentation.
