Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests for new or modified ABAP programs to ensure code quality. Collaborate with functional teams to perform integration testing and resolve any issues. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist users in testing new functionalities. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and user guides for ABAP developments. Document changes and enhancements in SAP systems to ensure traceability and support for future upgrades. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide support to end-users and resolve any technical issues related to ABAP programs. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP and ABAP programming practices. Educational Qualifications: 04-year bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications (anyone): SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver. SAP Certified Application Associate - ABAP with SAP HANA (for those working on HANA environments). Certification in specific SAP modules (FI / MM) can be an added advantage. Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: Programming: Extensive experience in ABAP programming, including Reports (Classical and Interactive), ALV (ABAP List Viewer), Dialog Programming, and Batch Data Communication (BDC). Enhancements: Expertise in SAP enhancements, including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Frameworks.
