Key Responsibilities: Track and maintain the Federal and State Tax notices received and document the status. Resolve state or federal notices by calling and drafting responses to the respective agencies Track adjustments, penalties, credit carryforward adjustments, as needed. Create and maintain accounts on state portals. Prepare and review the following tax forms: 1065, 1120, 588, 1099, W-8, 8832, 8875, 8865, 8937 Perform Federal K-1 schedule, and State K-1 schedule review for all Partners Preparing and Reviewing tax work papers that calculate partnership taxable income. Desired Candidate Profile: Candidate must be a Postgraduate or C.A., with knowledge of accounting and finance Candidates must have 1 years of relevant experience in Tax Compliance and filing. In this role, you will work with experienced partners and teams to advise corporate and pass-through clients across all industries on various aspects of tax accounting, tax compliance and tax research. You will fulfill a wide range of varied work from all divisions and across all levels which will include, but are not limited to the following examples: Manage US-outbound tax planning support for international operations of US- headquartered companies, including repatriation strategies, foreign tax credit optimization and local country tax planning opportunities Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual international ASC 740 (FAS 109/FIN 48) tax accruals, global effective tax rate calculations, and footnote disclosure Manage the preparation of forms 5471 for controlled foreign corporations, forms 8858 and 8865 for flow through foreign entities, forms 1120, 1065, 1120-S for U.S. companies with foreign operations, forms 1120-F for foreign corporation with U.S. trades or business/permanent establishments• Maintain supporting documentation of earnings and profits pool, PTEP, and US tax basis for foreign subsidiaries and/or branches of US multinationals Analyze and calculate taxable distributions, •987 gains/losses, Subpart F income, ECI, Global Intangible Low Taxed Income, CFC attribution, Section 245A Deduction, hybrid transactions, 163(j), FDII, etc. Manage the preparation of Forms 1118 and 1116 for foreign tax credits and supporting documentation Manage and review of multinational clients quarterly US tax payments through analysis of international tax implications on US tax estimates.
