Zonal Sales Manager

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve zonal targets

Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities

Forecast sales and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)

Geographical knowledge & Cropping Pattern.

2. Team Leadership & Management

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sales Officers and Executives

Conduct regular training to enhance product knowledge and selling skills

Set clear sales targets and evaluate team performance.

3. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors

Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly

Promote customer loyalty through value-added services and technical support

4. Market Development

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities

Organize farmer meets, product demonstrations, and promotional activities

Collaborate with the marketing team for brand building and product positioning.

Prepare regular sales reports and present them to the Regional Sales Head.

Ensure compliance with company policies, including pricing and credit policies.

Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable insights.

5. Reporting & Compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture or related field.

Experience: 18+ years in Nutrition sales, preferably in the agriculture sector

Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Office and CRM software

Willingness to travel extensively within the zone.
