As the Workday Benefits consultant, your primary focus will be on configuring and optimizing the benefits module within Workday. In this role, you will act as the functional owner/architect and subject matter expert (SME) for benefits, providing strategic oversight, technical leadership, and operational support. You will also be responsible for managing module-specific sprint planning and deliverables, as well as overseeing half-yearly Workday release enhancements. In addition, you will manage and triage service tickets for all benefits-related issues, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring that all tickets are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. You will serve as the go-to person for Workday benefits inquiries and provide training to benefits partners, managers, and other stakeholders on effectively utilizing the benefits module in Workday. Furthermore, you will lead testing efforts within P&C Systems to ensure smooth user acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated testing, staying up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities. As a mentor, you will guide and support junior colleagues in their roles related to configuration and testing. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 6 to 9 years of Workday experience with expertise in Workday Benefits is required, along with being Workday Pro Benefits certified. This enables the delivery team to estimate, plan, and commit to delivery with high confidence and identify test cases and scenarios to ensure the quality and performance of IT Systems.
