Job Title: PLC and SCADA Engineer (Full-Time, Remote) Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PLC and SCADA Engineer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of PLC and SCADA systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Assist with system commissioning activities both remotely and on-site as needed. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for PLC and SCADA systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime. Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation including system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, user manuals, and test reports. Maintain accurate records of system configurations, modifications, and upgrades. Training and Support: Deliver training sessions and technical workshops to end-users and stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of PLC and SCADA systems. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure optimal system performance. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in PLC and SCADA system design, programming, and implementation. Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and SCADA software platforms, including Rockwell and Wonderware. Strong understanding of industrial automation principles, protocols, and standards (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating high motivation and self-sufficiency. Familiarity with hardware components such as PLCs (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley), RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and industrial communication networks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
