You are a reliable and detail-oriented IT Assistant responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our IT systems. Your role includes managing hardware, assisting with software issues, ensuring network connectivity, and meeting the technology needs of all departments. Your key responsibilities will involve assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software such as desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, and CCTV systems. You will troubleshoot system and network issues, providing timely support to staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining IT asset inventory and documentation, supporting ERP, email, and internal communication systems, managing user accounts, backups, and antivirus updates, coordinating with branches for hardware/software procurement and service, monitoring internet, LAN/Wi-Fi connections, and providing basic server support. Setting up projectors, conferencing tools, and audio/video equipment during meetings will also be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and common business software. Knowledge of basic networking including LAN, IP, and Wi-Fi configuration is essential. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required, along with a willingness to travel to branches/farms for on-site support when needed. You must be able to document issues and maintain logs effectively. The qualifications for this position include a Diploma/B.Sc./BCA/BE in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
