Lecturer – Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) (Full-Time Faculty Position) Department: Graduate School of Health Sciences , Wellcaza School of Health Sciences, Elamakkara, Kochi, Kerala – 682026 Position Type: Full-Time | 5 Days a Week Strictly Offline Teaching Mode | English Medium of Instruction Application Deadline: 15th August 2025 Expected Joining Date: 15th September 2025 Position Overview: Wellcaza School of Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) to support its expanding academic programmes in clinical and diagnostic laboratory sciences. This is a full-time, campus-based faculty role for candidates passionate about shaping the next generation of allied healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver structured lectures, demonstrations, and lab sessions for undergraduate B.Sc/B.Voc MLT students in accordance with academic curriculum of M S University. Provide academic mentoring, evaluation support, and examination preparation for assigned modules. Special focus is expected in areas of Hematology, Transfusion Techniques, Cytology . Assist in supervising students during clinical postings or internships (including occasional Saturdays if applicable). Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent clinical laboratory science qualification degree should be completed in regular mode from a UGC-recognized university in India. Candidates with specialization in Hematology & Transfusion Techniques or Cytology & Cytogenetics will be given preference, though applicants with other clinical diagnostic specializations are also encouraged to apply. Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in B.Sc/B.Voc MLT programmes in institutions affiliated to any recognised Health Sciences University in India, OR Foreign postgraduates with equivalent qualifications from a university ranked within the top 250 of QS World Rankings, and the degree is certified by UGC as equivalent in India. Preferred Candidates: Recently retired faculty with MD in Pathology / Hematology / Laboratory Medicine from recognized medical colleges in India.
