Dear Candidate, We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality products and ensure seamless user experiences. Role & Responsibilities: Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Test Strategy & Planning : Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies to ensure thorough testing coverage. Continuous Integration & Testing : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster deployment. Bug Identification & Reporting : Identify and report defects or issues through bug tracking tools, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve them. Test Environment Setup : Set up and maintain automated test environments for consistent and reliable test execution. Performance Testing : Implement automated performance tests to validate application scalability and performance under load. Collaboration : Work with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure that test cases meet functional and non-functional requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Test Automation Tools : Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium , Cypress , or JUnit . Programming Languages : Proficiency in programming languages such as Java , Python , or JavaScript for writing automated test scripts. Continuous Integration (CI) : Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , or CircleCI to integrate tests into development workflows. Testing Frameworks : Familiarity with test automation frameworks like TestNG , JUnit , or Mocha . Version Control : Proficiency with version control systems such as Git , GitHub , or GitLab . Bug Tracking & Issue Management : Experience with tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or Trello for tracking issues and collaborating with teams. Performance & Load Testing : Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter , LoadRunner ) and techniques to validate application scalability. Debugging & Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to debug and troubleshoot issues in the test environment and scripts. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
