Position Title:

Position Summary

As an Engineer – QA/QC at DRA Homes, you will ensure that all construction activities meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements and company specifications. You’ll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors to implement QA/QC processes across multiple ongoing residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Documentation:

  
  
• Review project drawings, specifications and method statements to develop QA/QC plans.
  
• Prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and standard operating procedures.
  

• Site Inspections & Testing:

  
  
• Conduct regular inspections of soil work, foundations, structural elements, masonry, waterproofing, finishes, MEP installations, etc.
  
• Monitor, witness and record tests (e.g., concrete slump, cube strength, welds, etc.) and ensure corrective actions for non-conformances.
  

• Non-Conformance Management:

  
  
• Identify, document and raise NCRs/RFIs for deviations.
  
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and closure.
  

• Coordination & Training:

  
  
• Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
  
• Conduct toolbox talks and refresher training on QA/QC procedures and safety norms.
  

• Reporting & Handover:

  
  
• Prepare daily/weekly QA/QC reports and maintain quality registers.
  
• Support final snagging, pre-handover inspections and compilation of “As Built” QA documentation.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  
• 3–5 years’ experience in QA/QC on real estate/building construction projects
  
• Exposure to Indian standards (IS codes), ASTM, ACI, and local statutory requirements
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and testing processes
  
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  
• Excellent report-writing and documentation skills
  
• Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities
  
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
