Within CDO Infra Networks, the Networks tower is responsible for managing globally the life cycle, delivery, quality, and performance of the Wide Area Network, internet connections, network traffic management, (W)LAN, DNS/DHCP, and all other aspects of connectivity for Nokia Networks offices and partners. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be accountable for IT service management, including handling Incident management, Problem management, and Change management for the Wide area network. You will be involved in technical design, functionality, configuration, performance, and quality of connectivity. This role is positioned in the network operations center (NOC) to ensure reliable service operation for IT network services. Your responsibilities will include analyzing production network issues, following troubleshooting mechanisms, working in a 24x7 support model, owning incident ticket resolution end-to-end, coordinating with junior NOC engineers, coordinating solution provisioning and deployment by WAN connectivity service providers, and escalating very complex network issues to L4 engineers for support. Key Skills And Experience You have: - A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent - Over 10 years of experience in complex network services - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, and related technologies - Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS - Hands-on experience with Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software and CLI - Experience in enterprise WAN architecture and security with Firewalls - Strong understanding of enterprise wired and wireless networks Desired Skills: - Experience in requirement gathering processes - Understanding of ITIL processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural team About Us Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed, and cloud networks.
