VP - Dot Net Developer

As a Senior Technology Lead in our FX Hub Technology Team, you will have a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing the delivery of solutions that align with the strategic vision for our business. FX Hub serves as the centralized order management system for capturing, enriching, and routing all Securities Services related FX orders across Citis unrivaled custody network. As the Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your key objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities effectively. Your responsibilities will include partnering with multiple management teams to ensure proper integration of functions, as well as identifying and defining necessary system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements. You will be expected to resolve a variety of high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Your expertise in applications programming will be crucial in ensuring that application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. Leading the development of comprehensive knowledge in areas such as architecture and infrastructure integration to achieve business goals will be a key aspect of your role. You will need to provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Additionally, you will serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Qualifications for this role include 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis, extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications, and hands-on experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development, having the ability to adjust priorities quickly, and demonstrating leadership and project management skills are essential requirements. Clear and concise written and verbal communication, along with the ability to assess risks when making business decisions, are also important qualifications. The technologies required for this role include .NET Core, ReactJS, C#, T-SQL, Kaas (Kafka as a Service), REST APIs, Websockets, Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, Openshift, Docker, microservices, Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot. Education-wise, a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Masters degree being preferred.
