Ltd., a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and precision components industry, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Head to lead its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in handling end-to-end production operations in the Aerospace or Precision Machining Component industry, with deep knowledge of CNC and VMC machining processes . Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily production operations to meet quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets. Plan and execute production schedules based on customer orders and internal capacity. Supervise production teams and ensure optimal utilization of CNC/VMC machines and resources. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM. Collaborate with quality, design, maintenance, and supply chain teams for smooth workflow. Analyze production data and implement strategies to reduce cycle time, rework, and downtime. Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards and aerospace-specific regulations. Lead the implementation of new products, jigs, and fixtures into production. Guide process planning, tooling, and resource planning for existing and new components. Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for production issues. Foster a strong team culture of discipline, accountability, and performance. Required Candidate Profile: Experience: 12 to 20 years in the aerospace/precision machining component industry. Proven track record of managing medium- to large-scale production units with CNC/VMC machines. In-depth knowledge of machine shop operations, part manufacturing, and process optimization. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. Sound understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and process documentation. Familiarity with ERP systems, production tracking, and quality systems. Exposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace machining requirements is essential. Must be hands-on with technical problem-solving and people management. Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
