Job Description: Major Accountabilities of Position: Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Knowledge of data modelling, crafting, and executing queries. Good knowledge and experience on data integration tool like SSIS. Data Analysis through reports and visualization. Building and deploying Power BI apps for multiple customers. Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required: Technical Skills: Power BI DAX and Power Query M-Code. Building Data Model in Power BI. Preferably experience in any ETL Tools like SSIS. Knowledge of Microsoft MSBI stack like SSAS (tabular model), SSIS, SSRS. Experience in deploying Reports, Dashboards and Apps in Power BI. Solid understanding of Data warehousing and BI concepts. Working knowledge of Office365 groups/ workspaces. Knowledge of databases like MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, Oracle, and hands-on experience in writing SQL Queries. Experience on any other visualization tool like Tableau or QlikView would be an added advantage. Knowledge of .Net, Python, or JavaScript would be an added advantage. People Skills: Engagement as a proactive member of the workgroup and team player. Professional and open communication to all internal and external stakeholders. Ability to take instruction and perform tasks accurately with minimal guidance. Accurately report to management in a timely and effective manner. Other: Ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot complex, multi-component issues, providing appropriate cost-effective resolutions and solutions. Ability to abstract application-specific components to a generic solution, enabling re-use. Utilize fundamental knowledge of OPC UA to facilitate seamless communication between devices and systems, ensuring interoperability and data exchange. Design and implement data models that support project objectives, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Leverage data analytics to derive insights and support decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience with PCS7 systems. Proficiency in Python programming, with a strong understanding of scripting for automation and data manipulation. Solid understanding of OPC UA fundamentals and its application in industrial environments. Experience in valve monitoring and process understanding, with a focus on optimizing performance. Background in data science, including data analysis, modeling, and visualization techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
