Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in recording and editing video content, adding overlays, and creating engaging visual content. You will work closely with our content creation team to produce high-quality videos that align with our brand and message.

Experience: 2-3 years in relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

Video Recording:

• Set up and operate video recording equipment for studio and field shoots.
• Record high-quality video content for various purposes, including marketing, tutorials, interviews, and social media.
• Ensure proper lighting, sound, and camera angles to achieve professional results.

Video Editing:

• Import and organize raw footage for editing.
• Edit video content to produce polished final products, including cutting, splicing, and trimming footage.
• Apply transitions, effects, and audio adjustments to enhance video quality.
• Sync video with audio and ensure seamless integration.

Overlay and Graphics:

• Add text, graphics, animations, and other overlays to video content.
• Create engaging and visually appealing title sequences, lower thirds, and end screens.
• Ensure all overlays are consistent with brand guidelines and enhance the overall video experience.

Collaboration and Feedback:

• Collaborate with the content creation team, including writers, directors, and producers, to understand project goals and requirements.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to videos.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content on schedule.

File Management and Export:

• Manage and organize video files and project assets.
• Export final videos in various formats suitable for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, website).
• Ensure all exported videos meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with motion graphics and overlay creation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Strong understanding of video recording techniques and equipment.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with color grading and correction.
• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
• Familiarity with different video formats and codecs.
• Experience with live streaming and recording.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
