Role & responsibilities Lead and manage cross-functional teams (logistics, procurement, inventory, etc.) to achieve operational excellence. Oversee the sourcing of raw materials such as iron ore, coal, and scrap metal, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Optimize inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure production runs smoothly and demand is met without overstocking. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Lead negotiations with large clients and partners to close deals and secure long-term contracts. Work with finance and operations teams to determine cost structures, margins, and pricing models. Proficiency in negotiating large-scale contracts with clients and partners Identifying new sources of revenue generation and building strong sales pipeline through lead generation Work closely with the sales and production teams to forecast demand and align production schedules accordingly. Ensure the efficient movement of goods across the supply chain, including managing lead times and reducing transportation costs. Preferred candidate profile Candidate with 15-20 years of experience in commercial roles within the steel manufacturing or related industrial sectors .
