Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Logistics Manager to oversee and streamline our transportation operations at our Vijayawada site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field logistics, with proven expertise in onboarding local transporters and vehicle owners, Transport Unions, managing daily logistics activities, and controlling costs. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and onboard local transporters and vehicle owners to ensure reliable transportation support.(Tippers, Hyva) Oversee daily logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and route management. Manage mileage and fuel costs, ensuring cost-efficiency and budget adherence. Prepare detailed cost analysis reports to monitor expenses and identify areas for optimization. Generate MIS reports related to logistics activities, costs, and transporter performance. Liaise effectively with field teams, transporters, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety standards, transportation policies, and local regulations. Continuously improve logistics processes for efficiency and reliability. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in logistics and transporter management. Proven field logistics experience, particularly in transporter onboarding and operations. Strong understanding of transportation costs, fuel management, and route planning. Excellent analytical and report-generation skills. Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with proven expertise in costing, client engagement, and handling diverse logistics segments such as cement, steel, mining, RMC, bulk materials, construction materials, waste management, raw materials, port logistics, and road transportation. The candidate should possess excellent networking skills to connect with various companies across industries and drive new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and expand business within existing accounts in the logistics sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in industries such as cement, steel, mining, construction, waste, raw materials, ports, and road logistics. Understand client logistics requirements and offer tailored transportation and supply chain solutions. Conduct detailed logistics and transportation costing analysis to provide competitive and profitable pricing. Identify potential business opportunities and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue. Minimum of 2-20 years of experience in logistics/transportation sales, preferably with exposure to bulk, raw material, port, or road logistics. Proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with clients in industries such as cement, steel, mining, construction, and port logistics. Strong understanding of logistics costing, freight rates, and supply chain optimization. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sales initiatives. Familiarity with logistics software and ERP systems is desirable. Preferred Skills: Extensive network within the target industries like Thermal Power Plant, cement, RMC, Building materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
