Your role and responsibilities will include designing features from start to finish, involving research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and testing to effectively communicate interactions and design concepts. Additionally, you will conduct comprehensive research on drone operations, regulations, competitors, and user behaviors to guide design decisions. Collaboration with various teams such as engineering, customer success, robotics, business, and marketing will be crucial. Leveraging your knowledge of the drone industry, you will translate complex technical specifications into user-friendly designs that improve the overall user experience. Understanding technical API and SDK documentation to derive actionable insights will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role should have a good command over Figma, knowledge of WCAG guidelines, experience with responsive design, creating design systems, and implementing them. Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, Lovable, Vercel V0, Galileo AI, or Figma AI plugins is a plus. Strong research skills and methodologies will be essential for success in this position.
