ASTAGURU JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT & SUB-DEPARTMENT Supply Chain Management JOB TITLE/ ROLE / DESIGNATION Logistics Coordinator PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (List the principal duties, activities and responsibilities for the position in descending order of importance.)1. Coordinate and monitor the logistics and supply chain operations from point of origin to delivery. 2. Documentation of international and domestic logistic. 3. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. 4. Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation. 5. Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status and timelines. 6. Analyze shipping data and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement. 7. Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. 8. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. 9. Maintain accurate records in logistics management systems. DEPARTMENTAL STRUCTURE Position reporting to (Designation / Level): Head of Department - Logistics QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Minimum to Maximum)10+ years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management. FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS REQUIRED Functional / Technical Skills 1. Experience with international logistics and freight forwarding. 2. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools. 3. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. 4. Strong understanding of logistics processes, shipping regulations, and inventory management. Behavioral Skills 1. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. 2. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. AGE GROUP PREFERRED 35 to 40 years
