Dear All At the Centre of Excellence for Road Safety, we are looking for a GIS Analyst to join at CoERS, IIT Madras, Chennai. What are we looking for in you: Ability to work in cross functional team and openness to learn and grow. Able to work with teams to understand, gather requirements and prepare a detailed requirement document Ability to create layers using open-source platforms. Can perform the Spatio-temporal analysis using big data. Can generate both queries and infographics/graphs from the performed analysis. Ability to do detailed documentation of the performed analysis. Eligibility Criteria: Hands-on experience of 1-2 years using the Q-GIS, Python, R and other programming languages to create layers, perform analysis, and generate graphs and inferences. Hands-on experience in using visualisation tools like Illustrator/ PowerPoint/ Photoshop and other software to generate infographics. Hands-on experience in using documentation tools like MS Word/Overleaf and other tools to prepare detailed documentation. Decent understanding of state-of-art technologies, preferably IOT, VR/AR/XR, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision are preferrable.
