Role & responsibilities Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our cloud products team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SRM, BW, PO components across AIX/Linux/Windows environments. This role demands a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in implementations, upgrades, and ECC to S/4HANA conversions, with the ability to operate in 24x7 support models and lead cloud-integrated SAP initiatives. Administer SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC, SRM, BW, PO in heterogeneous environments (AIX, Linux, Windows). Perform SAP Basis administration tasks such as performance monitoring, tuning, system integrity checks, and issue resolution. Lead and support end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects. Manage and optimize HANA, Sybase, and Oracle database installations, upgrades, backups, restores, and disaster recovery strategies. Install and administer HANA databases with strong knowledge of performance tuning and optimization. Maintain and enhance the SAP landscape including NetWeaver ABAP & Java stack, BOBJ, and SAP Solution Manager (including CHARM). Ensure seamless integration of On-Premise and SaaS environments, with knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms. Administer and maintain SAP Enterprise Portal, TREX, Content Server, and Archival solutions. Develop and maintain documentation for all SAP systems and interfaces. Provide strategic input on system backups, recovery plans, and DR processes. Lead or mentor teams during critical projects, incident resolutions, and upgrades. Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 5+ years of SAP Basis experience. Hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, migration , or upgrade project . Must have led at least one ECC to S/4HANA conversion project. Strong experience with SAP HANA , SYBASE , and ORACLE databases. Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager with CHARM. Cloud exposure: Azure, AWS . Proven experience in SaaS platforms and their integrations with on-premise systems. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Willingness to work in a 24x7 support model and travel onsite (domestic or international) as needed.
