The details of the position are: Company: Top General Insurance Co. Designation: Associate Vice President -Liability Underwriter. Role: Liability Underwriter Reporting: Head Liability. Location: Mumbai. Work Days: 5 Job Description: Responsible for developing and executing the Liability line of business (LOB) strategy and delivering the plan results for the business in India. The positions main responsibilities are: Development of Liability LOB underwriting strategy and policies, in alignment with global and regional underwriting guidelines, including implementation of the strategy. Responsible for managing the underwriting performance of the local LOB portfolio, including delivering the GWP and NTR plan. Ensure adherence to LOB underwriting governance per the underwriting framework within the local portfolio. Responsible for strengthening and managing relationships with market stakeholders to drive business (customers, brokers, associations) Provide leadership and nurture talent, including enhancing LOB underwriting technical skills.
