Transport Supervisor

PNC Cognitio School is a dynamic and inclusive learning environment dedicated to the safety, education, and development of our students. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Transport Manager to oversee and coordinate all school transportation services, ensuring safety, punctuality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the daily transportation operations including school buses and contracted services.
• Develop and maintain transportation routes to ensure maximum efficiency and student safety.
• Supervise drivers and transportation staff, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, fuel usage, maintenance, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, drivers, and school administration regarding transport-related matters.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, delays, or accidents involving school transport.
• Ensure all transportation services are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare and manage the transportation budget.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport management or logistics (experience in a school environment is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license; a commercial driving license (CDL) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions quickly.
• Proficient in routing software and basic computer applications (MS Office).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Transport Management or Logistics.
• First Aid and Emergency Management training.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and route optimization tools.
