We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tourist Guide Trainer to train aspiring tour guides in communication, hospitality, local history, and tourist engagement.

Job Title: Tourist Guide Trainer
Salary: ₹10,000 - ₹15,000

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Durgapur, ITI College, West Bengal

*NOTE: THE REQUIREMENT IS FOR TRAINERS, NOT TRAINEES.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on tour guiding techniques
• Teach about heritage sites, local history, cultural etiquette, and tourist safety
• Develop curriculum and training materials
• Train on soft skills such as storytelling, communication, and customer service
• Conduct mock guiding tours and assessments
• Guide trainees on professional ethics and emergency protocols
• Keep updated with tourism trends and new destinations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, History, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
• Proven work experience as a Tourist Guide or Trainer (2+ years preferred)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of local culture, geography, and heritage
• Ability to inspire and lead groups
