Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Tool Room Manager to lead and manage our in-house tool room operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and calibration of jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and tools essential for high-quality production output. Industry: Export / Manufacturing / Engineering / Handicrafts Department: Production & Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production Engineering Key Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate tool room activities including tool design, manufacturing, and maintenance. Ensure timely development of dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and special-purpose tools. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tooling and manufacturing processes. Coordinate with design, production, and quality departments to meet tooling requirements. Maintain tool room equipment (CNC, lathe, milling, grinding, EDM, etc.) in good condition. Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational best practices. Monitor and control tool inventory and documentation. Support new product development (NPD) with required tool modifications and design inputs. Optimize tool usage and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and tool life monitoring. Lead a team of toolmakers and technicians, guiding them in daily operations and training. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Prior experience in metalware, handicrafts Automobile, or engineering manufacturing setup . Strong technical foundation in mechanical drawings and precision machining . Experience in automation or semi-automated tool development is a plus. Candidates from or willing to relocate to Moradabad will be preferred.
