Job Description

You should have 9.5 to 13 years of experience in the field. Your primary skills should include Python and Google Bigquery. The job location can be Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkota, Pune, or Chennai. As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to design and develop robust database solutions to support business applications. It is mandatory that you have experience in Postgres development. You will also need to optimize SQL queries for high performance and efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements will be essential. Additionally, implementing and maintaining database security measures and conducting regular database performance tuning are crucial aspects of the role. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation for database systems and processes, providing technical support to junior developers, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all database systems, and performing data migration and transformation tasks as needed. Monitoring database systems for optimal performance and availability, developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in database management will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should possess a strong understanding of database architecture and design principles, demonstrate proficiency in SQL and ANSI SQL, have experience with database performance tuning and optimization, show the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and display strong communication and collaboration abilities. Additionally, participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will be expected.,
