Title Faculty Positions

You will be involved in teaching and conducting advanced research in the areas of Robotics, Mechatronics, and Automation within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Mahindra University. As a prospective faculty member, you should hold a Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation with a background in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering. Ideally, your Ph.D. should be from reputable institutions such as IITs, IISc, or renowned universities abroad. A strong research track record demonstrated by high-quality publications in reputable journals is essential. You must exhibit a deep commitment to teaching and mentoring students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, you should be dedicated to enhancing research activities and securing funded consultancy or external projects for the institute. Desired candidates will possess proven expertise in delivering high-quality teaching and showcasing excellence in research in the fields of Robotics, Mechatronics, and Automation. Experience in collaborating on research projects with universities and industries will be advantageous. Industry experience can also be considered in place of academic experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to teaching and conducting research in the following specialized areas: - Robotics - Mechatronics, specifically Mechatronics and Control Systems - Biomedical Instrumentation, Medical Robotics, and Man-Machine Interaction - MEMS Sensors & Integration, with experience in developing MEMS or other sensor types being a plus - Actuators and Drives, covering Power Electronics, Actuators, Sensors, Robot Locomotion, and the development of various actuator types like soft actuators, biomimetic actuators, and mechanical actuators If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV along with two references to balaji.narayanan@mahindrauniversity.edu.in and deep.seth@mahindrauniversity.edu.in.
