Title Electrical Engineering

You will work as part of the K&A Power & Renewable - Distribution team, where your key responsibilities will include the delivery of power distribution infrastructure projects. You will be required to diligently check and review the deliverables to assure quality and ensure that projects are delivered on time to meet project schedules. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant design experience in a dry utilities engineering environment with Vendors, Contractors, or Design Consultancies in infrastructure projects. It is essential to have prior experience working on Middle East projects related to dry utilities and a strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE Standards. Your expertise should include a sound understanding of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power distribution and planning. Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Dialux is required. Familiarity with using Dialux software for outdoor street lighting calculation and Pump Stations Electrical design works is crucial. You should be able to independently work on project deliverables from the base design stage to detailed designs and possess excellent English communication skills within the engineering environment. Desired qualifications for the role include a demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within infrastructure projects, particularly in dry utilities. You should have the ability to apply technical knowledge in analyzing problems and creating solutions. Willingness to travel to Middle East and African Countries for short-term assignments, adaptability to different cultures and working environments, and the capability to build rapport with customers and colleagues are preferred attributes. Moreover, you should be well-motivated and capable of working effectively as part of a team or on individual assignments as required. The role will involve working and communicating efficiently within multidisciplinary teams, thus requiring a flexible approach to work and the ability to work on your initiative. In terms of skills, proficiency in Dialux, AutoCAD, Low Voltage, and High Voltage systems is essential for this role.,
