You will be participating in the preparation of food items according to guest orders with consistent quality, following recipe cards, production, portion, and presentation standards. It is crucial to be responsible and accountable for the overall food cost, kitchen supplies, kitchen energy costs, and kitchen utensils. Your duties will also include preparing and properly garnishing food orders upon receipt in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation. Always ensure adherence to Lapita Autograph Collection standards of preparation, recipes, and presentation. Additionally, you will be maintaining the buffet area and assisting guests with serving. Accepting and preparing special orders will be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to ensure the seasoning, portions, and appearance of food are up to the required standards. Properly store any unused food and promptly inform the Sous Chef of larger quantities of stored food. Proactively carry out work to facilitate chefs arriving for the other shifts. Other reasonable duties as required by the department head may also be assigned from time to time. This is a full-time, permanent position with a flexible schedule and food provided. The schedule will involve rotational shifts with the opportunity for a yearly bonus. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of cooking experience.,
