As a key contributor to the engineering software team, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of advanced engineering tools utilized in the design and operation of power plants. Your responsibilities will support the delivery of high-quality, safety-compliant engineering solutions that promote innovation and efficiency in the global energy sector. You will drive testing and quality assurance activities for cutting-edge in-house developed power plant and power plant component engineering tools to enhance productivity, ensure reliability, and comply with Nuclear Safety requirements. You will diagnose bugs, analyze problems, document issues, propose solutions, and estimate efforts for immediate and long-term resolutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in quality engineering, test planning, and testing methodology for engineering tools. Additionally, you will develop and implement sustainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases, test and validate engineering tool releases, provide technical support and training to end users, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to engineering data, performance, reliability, and usability of tools. Adherence to SDLC principles, Agile Methodologies, Continuous Integration (CI), and product security will be essential. Collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering and software teams, you will gather feedback, understand product requirements, areas of improvement, and company vision. You will demonstrate the initiative to explore alternative technologies and approaches to problem-solving, as well as stay informed about competitors and industry trends. In terms of technical expertise, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), with a Master's degree considered a plus. Professional experience in at least one engineering discipline such as Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Heat Transfer, or Fluid Mechanics is required. Experience using engineering tools for tendering or executing power plant projects, testing desktop applications and/or web services, test automation, agile project management, and familiarity with standard software development kits (e.g., Jenkins, Jira, Rally, GitHub) are also expected. Furthermore, behavioral and leadership competencies are crucial for success in this role. You should seek to thoroughly understand problems before implementing solutions, possess effective problem-solving abilities, persist in the face of challenges, drive results through teamwork, present clear rationales, take ownership of deliverables, adapt to changing environments, and be willing to collaborate with global international teams.,
