Position Overview: Siddh Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist with strong expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing gastroenterological cases, including advanced endoscopic interventions, and should demonstrate clinical excellence and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities: Independently perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including: - Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD) - Colonoscopy - ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) - Endoscopic Polypectomy, Variceal Banding, Foreign Body Removal - Endoscopic Dilatations and Stenting Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders. Collaborate with surgical, radiology, oncology, and ICU teams in complex GI and hepatobiliary cases. Participate in gastroenterology consults for inpatients and emergency referrals. Contribute to clinical training, case discussions, and academic sessions at the hospital. Ensure adherence to infection control, quality, and documentation standards in all procedures. Candidate Profile: Educational Qualification: DM/DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution. Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years of post-super specialty experience in a tertiary care setup. Proficiency in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures is a must. Licensure: Valid registration with the State Medical Council / NMC. Key Skills: Advanced endoscopic skills and interpretation. Strong clinical acumen in GI, hepatic, and pancreatic care. Ability to manage emergency GI bleeds and complex gastroenterological disorders. Experience in handling & maintenance of instruments like Hargreaves apparatus, Dynamic plantar aesthesiometer, Incapacitance meter Analgesymeter, Von Frey filaments etc, and recording pain readouts using them. Will work independently or in association with senior scientists and other associates in the design and execution of in-vivo efficacy experiments in the relevant therapeutic area. Experience in animals handling (rodents and non-rodents) such as dosing by various routes, blood sampling by various routes, injections by various routes and surgical modalities which includes cannulation etc Associate to provide technical, analysis and reporting outcomes of research for projects in Neuropathic pain area. Ability to work consistently with cross functional teams to achieve common goals & ensure customer satisfaction. Demonstrate consistent ability to communicate with client in well-articulated manner and deliver the results within stipulated timelines. Organizational skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment are required. Prior experience in people management is desired.
