Testing-QA Engineer I

As a QA Engineer I at Carelon Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Elevance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare application systems. Working under the guidance of the Team Lead, you will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing systems while also participating in the development of new products. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing automation test plans, designing test automation scripts, and managing the defect resolution process. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, interact with clients to address issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. To excel in this role, you should possess a full-time IT engineering or equivalent degree, preferably in Computers, along with practical experience as an automation and manual tester. Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and API testing tools such as Rest Assured, JMeter, and Postman is essential. You should have at least 4 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years in UI automation testing, API testing, and functional testing. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, as well as experience in designing and implementing testing frameworks, will be advantageous.
