Role & responsibilities We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 710 years of experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web and API applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Selenium , Rest Assured , Postman , and SQL , along with a proven ability to build reusable test assets and participate in multiple concurrent testing efforts. Experience in the financial domain will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Design and build test automation frameworks using Selenium and Rest Assured. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing. Use Postman and related tools for API testing and automation. Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testable scenarios and build test plans. Identify, design, and capture test data required for testing. Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable test assets to improve testing efficiency. Participate in deployment preparation and validation of releases. Work across multiple projects in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Required Skills: 7 to 10 years of experience in automation testing. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured . Proficient in using Postman for manual and automated API testing. Strong command over SQL for test data creation and database validations. Experience in developing and maintaining test frameworks using Java, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle . Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker is a plus. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
