To strengthen on-site clinical expertise, we seek a seasoned Consultant Psychiatrist who can champion high-quality, stigma-free patient outcomes while mentoring the next generation of mental-health professionals. Role & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate DSM-5/ICD-10 diagnoses, and deliver evidence-based treatment for OPD and IPD patients. Design personalised management plans integrating psychopharmacology, CBT/DBT, family counselling, and community-based follow-up. Collaborate with psychologists, neurologists, social workers, and primary-care physicians to ensure seamless, multi-disciplinary continuity of care. Lead crisis intervention, suicide-prevention protocols, and psychiatric emergency management within the emergency department. Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and nursing staff on best practices and mental-health advocacy. Maintain meticulous EMR documentation, participate in morbidity–mortality meetings, and drive quality-improvement audits aligned with NABH standards. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have MBBS plus MD/DNB Psychiatry accredited by MCI/NMC. Minimum 3 years post-residency independent clinical practice. Demonstrated proficiency in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy delivery. Strong diagnostic acumen across mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance-use disorders. Fluency in English and at least one regional Indian language for culturally sensitive counselling. Availability for full-time on-site work with rotational on-call duties.
