Your responsibilities will include monitoring alarms and analyzing network events across multiple nodes, performing operation and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network incidents to meet SLAs, utilizing alarm monitoring tools effectively, collaborating with field teams, following ITSM ticketing procedures, communicating with internal teams and vendors, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and contributing to the improvement of Standard Operating Procedures. To succeed in this role, you should bring strong telecom knowledge across various service flows and interfaces, hands-on experience with Ericsson baseband hardware, expertise in NOC operations, familiarity with network monitoring tools, understanding of networking concepts and protocols, experience with ITSM frameworks, analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work in shifts including nights and weekends. Join our Team This role is responsible for alarm analysis, operation-maintenance, troubleshooting & change request implementation on IP nodes (like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security gateways etc). You will also be responsible for trouble ticket analysis and resolution of trouble tickets raised by customers/L2 teams. Fault management on all routers and switches equipment and follow up with support in case of raised cases. You will actively supervise ITSM ticket queues to maintain MTTR. Analytical skills like logical thinking, problem-solving & handling assignments are mandatory. Identify the root cause of P0/P1/P2/P3/P4 incidents and recommend appropriate resolution actions and other events that customers identify as requiring Root Cause Analysis (RCA). You will be the first point of contact for support of any alarm/event/KPI related issues. Close collaboration with the field team for all field activities (hardware failures, node unreachable, etc.). Ensure timely restoration of services to maintain MTTR for good customer experience & high service availability to maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA). Proactive involvement to detect possible failures to ensure incident restoration/avoidance whenever engaged by the Incident Manager or MS Automated Service Function. Perform node health checks and backups & troubleshoot the deviations identified. Share details for MIR & CSR to respective teams. Have an end-to-end network understanding. Handle 3PP/OEM, problem management support, data analytics, and customer governance handling. You should have good knowledge in IP networking protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, Segment Routing. Understanding of switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP. Knowledge of IP security protocols- IPSEC, GRE, VPN, CGNat. Familiarity with CISCO, Spine-leaf Architecture, Border-Leaf Architecture, VX-LAN. Telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G service flow & interfaces). Product/vendor knowledge on CISCO (mandatory) & Ericsson is preferable. Good communication & troubleshooting skills. 6-10 years of relevant experience in IP domain.,
