The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in thermoplastic injection mould design , jigs and fixtures , and a strong command over industry-standard design tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD . This role requires hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to drive the end-to-end design process from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the product design team through concept development, prototyping, and final design execution. Design electromechanical components and assemblies with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and durability. Develop and validate designs for thermoplastic injection moulds , jigs, and fixtures. Review and approve detailed 2D/3D drawings and technical documentation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement for design feasibility and optimization. Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety norms, and customer requirements. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior designers and engineers. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8–10 years of experience in product design, preferably in electromechanical or industrial products. Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory. Proven experience in thermoplastic injection mould design and jig & fixture development. Excellent understanding of mechanical tolerances, GD&T, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
