Product Design Manager

Position:

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the product design team through concept development, prototyping, and final design execution.
  
• Design electromechanical components and assemblies with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and durability.
  
• Develop and validate designs for

  thermoplastic injection moulds

  , jigs, and fixtures.
• Review and approve detailed 2D/3D drawings and technical documentation.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement for design feasibility and optimization.
  
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety norms, and customer requirements.
  
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior designers and engineers.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  
• 8–10 years of experience in product design, preferably in electromechanical or industrial products.
  
• Strong knowledge of

  SolidWorks

  and

  AutoCAD

  is mandatory.
• Proven experience in

  thermoplastic injection mould

  design and

  jig & fixture

  development.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical tolerances, GD&T, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
  
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
