Job Description: Understanding of industrial processes, supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing or other fields related to the specific industry they work in. Input gathering, data analysis, Continuous Improvement and Automation Concept preparation. Able to think on an abstract conceptual level, as well can dive into details if required. Taking the initiative and can work on various projects simultaneously if required. Develop and maintain simulation models using Technomatix Plant Simulation software for manufacturing systems and processes. Analyse and interpret simulation results to optimize production efficiency and workflows. Conduct feasibility studies for new projects using simulation models. Perform scenario analysis to identify bottlenecks, test process changes, and recommend improvements. Develop custom automation scripts to enhance simulation models. Document simulation assumptions, parameters, and findings. Develop and maintain digital twin models using Technomatix Plant Simulation to mirror physical production systems. Integrate real-time data from manufacturing systems into simulation models. Monitor the performance of digital twins and update them as system changes occur. Use of standard interface module such as OPC Classic, PLC SIM advanced etc. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate the accuracy and reliability of digital twin models. Provide insights from simulations to support predictive maintenance, capacity planning, and process optimization. Model the integration of robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and other automation technologies. Analyse simulation results to optimize robot movements, throughput, and equipment utilization.

Required Skills: Ensure the monitoring of the planning and deliverables of the simulation projects; define and apply action plans to reach targets Create/update models based on the layout, start model, and input data provided by EE VPE teams Provide technical documentation (presentations, simulation models, spreadsheets, video files) from flow simulation results Handover results, models, and simulations to the EE simulation team Knowledge of vehicle shop production processes and key production/maintenance KPIs Complete expertise in process and discrete event flow simulation (including dynamic/random failure) Software Skills: Plant Simulation software from Siemens (mandatory), coding knowledge (mandatory), Tecnomatix, PlantSim

Position: Engineer Discrete Event Simulation Location: Baner, Pune What You'll Do: • Conceptualise the simulation process and decompose the modules required for the project. Planning and scheduling of the task among the team. Team Management • Use tools like Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, FlexSim, Emulate3D, and programming languages such as Simtalk, Python, or C++ to design and implement simulation solutions. • Support data analysis and modelling efforts to translate simulation results into actionable insights for improving operational efficiency and decision-making. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure models align with business goals and performance metrics. What We're Looking For: • Around 5 - 10 year of experience in discrete event simulation, systems modelling and team management • Familiarity with simulation tools (Tecnomatix Plant Simulation is must and FlexSim or Emulate3D can be optional) and programming languages (Python, Java, or C++). • Strong analytical skills and an ability to think critically about complex production systems. • Eagerness to expand your knowledge of simulation, optimization techniques, data analysis and production technologies • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to drive results. • A problem-solving mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve Qualifications: • Bachelors / Masters Degree in Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering. • A strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and optimization techniques. Candidate Should have experience of the Leading Teamcenter Implementation and Development project. Must have experience on Easy Plan (AW) / Manufacturing Process Planner Implementation and customization and configuration. Experience working on Teamcenter Integration with Tecnomatix (PSonTC) Strong knowledge working and configuration of Teamcenter modules like- Structure Manager, Workflow Designer, Change Manager, Query Builder, Access Manager, Organization etc. Must have Teamcenter End to End Implementation and Development Experience (ITK, BMIDE, SOA) Strong Experience working with Active Workspace Configuration and Customization preferably version AW6.0 onwards Good hands on with BOM, EBOM, MBOM, CAD BOM Alignment functionality. Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering Concepts - BOP, BOE Management, Process Simulation Management, Work Instruction Management, Release & Change Management Strong understanding of Teamcenter data modeling (BMIDE) and configuration management. Experience related Siemens NX or other CAD systems Qualifications of Teamcenter Tech Lead: 1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field/work experience 2. 8+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter & Active Workspace. 3. Previous experience of Leading/Managing Teamcenter Implementation/Customization Project. 4. Strong communication and presentation skills
