Experience: Minimum 5+ years of development and design experience in Java/Scala/Python with Flink, Beam (or Spark Streaming using Real Time data and not batch data) and Kafka. The MPS Process Engineering Team Lead is responsible for producing the Process Engineering deliverables required for a project or proposal and will carry the responsibilities of the MPS Process Engineer. At the same time, the MPS Process Engineering Team Lead is responsible for managing and developing a team of GET / Junior Process Engineers as part of the MPS Process Engineering Team. Develop, configure and optimize process schemes throughout the facility, considering inputs from clients, products specifications, and cost of solution. Size and define process equipment and utilities for O&G facilities during proposal and project execution. Perform process engineering calculations and address the process engineering design challenges. Keep abreast of industry codes, standards, regulations and guidelines. Meet or exceed project expectations in a timely manner within the budget limits. Co-ordination with intra / inter disciplinary team and provide the required deliverables as and when requested. Activities Monitor and assess the engineering performance, quality and provide feedback for improvement to his/her direct reports. Support the MPS Process Engineering Management with the assessment of his/her team s skills/competencies and the creation of individual development plans for his/her direct reports. Assist the MPS Process Engineering Manager with recruitment and undertake technical interviews as required. Process Engineering activities part of the MPS Process Engineer Job Description such as: Ensure all his/her own engineering and design work performed meets quality, cost and schedule requirements. Process Design Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing & selection of equipment, depressurization calculations and flare network studies etc. for Tenders (as required) and for awarded Projects. Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Heat and Mass balance, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophy, shutdown philosophy, HAZOP actions close out, Operation & maintenance manuals etc. Review of vendor and subcontractor documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations to check compliance with project requirements. Ensure direct, effective and timely communications of project requirements, request for actions, responses to requests, routine reporting and sharing important information to Project Lead Engineer. Be fully aware of and implement, where appropriate, the latest International and National Industry Standards, Codes of Practice, software and requirements of good engineering practice for all work performed. Review and understand client specifications during proposal phase and raise clarifications and deviations. Provide process input data to others disciplines and support to Operations & Site team on engineering/technical matters, including pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and/or trouble shooting.
