As a Networking Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing intelligent networking products and platforms for a variety of IIoT applications. Your responsibilities will include creating cutting-edge industrial switching, routing, wireless, embedded, and security products, as well as industry-leading software platforms that facilitate the connection of devices, machines, and vehicles to traditional enterprise networks. You will be part of a dynamic technical community at Cisco, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design next-gen products. Engage with some of the brightest minds in the field and contribute to the development of products deployed across various verticals such as discrete and process manufacturing, smart cities, and oil and gas industries. As a System Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools to test the functionality of Cisco products, ensuring quality and stability in system/solution perspective that replicates customer environments with IIoT deployments. Your role will involve test planning, automation, manual testing of Security features, and working with local and remote teams to review documentation and extract test requirements. Minimum Qualifications: - Proficiency in writing quality code (automation test code) - Good understanding of Security methods Webauth/802.1x - Hands-on experience with layer-3 routing protocols, L2/L3 VPNs, and firewall technologies - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python - Knowledge of Layer-2/Layer-3 protocols and hands-on experience - Experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in writing quality code (automation test code) - Experience with AI/ML tools for network infrastructure support - Strong technical communication skills - Deep technical curiosity At Cisco, every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives to power an inclusive future for all.
