Jr. System Engineering Job Description Lead the design, development, and implementation of motor and actuation control systems for AMRs, forklifts, and conveyor systems. Develop advanced motor drivers for traction, servo, and conveyor motors, ensuring optimal performance and integration with overall system architecture. Design and implement safety systems incorporating lidar drivers, bumpers, and proximity sensors to meet high safety standards and regulations. Work closely with the firmware team to develop and optimize code for motor control and safety functionalities, using C and C++. Oversee the hardware development process, including digital and analogue circuit design, microcontroller integration, and connection layout for motor control units. Conduct rigorous testing and verification of motor control systems and safety mechanisms to ensure they meet product specifications and safety requirements. Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems into mechanical designs. Manage the integration of RTOS for task management and resource allocation in complex control systems. Utilize a variety of communication protocols (I2C, CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, UART) to facilitate robust system communications. Apply best practices for debugging and testing, using tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes, to swiftly identify and rectify system issues. Lead sensor integration efforts, focusing on calibration, data collection, and motor controller algorithm development. Conceptualize and operationalize the solution, document them for development, and ensure that the latest technology is being used for the development. Finalizing the solution with stakeholders and subsequently identifying vendors based on technical requirements, in collaboration with the SCM team, and arranging POCs for vendors. Release engineering BOM as per the internal process and actively work on prototype development and ensure its testing. Handle the issues reported by the After Sales Team and provide the necessary support. Maintain the documentation of products and projects as per the company process. Testing and Validation Engineer Job Description Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and validation protocols based on product requirements and specifications. Perform functional, performance, reliability, environmental, and stress testing (as applicable). Set up and operate test equipment and instrumentation. Identify, document, and track product issues and bugs; collaborate with design and development teams for resolution. Analyze test data, generate detailed test reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. Participate in design and development reviews to contribute testing and validation expertise. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for product failures. Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing and validation processes.
