Description We are looking for a skilled System Administrator / Engineer to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, ensuring the availability and performance of our systems while implementing security measures. Responsibilities Manage and maintain server infrastructure including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services. Implement security measures to safeguard the systems and data. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations. Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes. Collaborate with other IT team members to support application development and deployments. Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues. Skills and Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in system administration or engineering roles. Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows server environments. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of security best practices and tools. Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation purposes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
