System Administrator

Job Summary:

Microsoft 365 Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support all core M365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune.

Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security groups in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.

Oversee Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.

Configure and manage security and compliance features including Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and email hygiene.

Monitor service health, identify, and troubleshoot issues across the M365 environment.

Implement and maintain backup, retention, and data protection strategies for M365 services.

Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve user-related issues and provide technical assistance.

Stay current with Microsoft updates and best practices, and ensure timely adoption of new features.

Assist with migrations (e.g., email to Exchange Online, file servers to SharePoint Online).

Generate reports and documentation for auditing, performance, and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.

Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.

Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Purview, Compliance Center, and Admin Center.

Good understanding of ITIL practices and ticketing systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS-500, AZ-104).

Experience with M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.

Knowledge of hybrid environments (on-prem AD with Azure AD Connect).

Familiarity with third-party M365 management and security tools.
