You will be working as a Designer III at our Airoli, Navi Mumbai office, where you will be responsible for designing new products and enhancing existing ones. Your role will involve evaluating products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability under the guidance of a leader to ensure timely completion. You will work across various product lines as assigned, focusing on drafting and Windchill loading and clean-up tasks. Your key responsibilities will include performing engineering tasks such as layout drawing, material selection, cost estimation, and tolerance studies following established procedures. It is essential to apply your technical skills effectively to assigned projects, continuously enhance domain knowledge, and stay updated on new technologies. Your work must adhere to defined processes for the group and meet industry standards such as API, ASME, and ASTM. You will be expected to provide regular status/progress reports, plan deliverables efficiently, and maintain optimal productivity to complete projects within the assigned timeframe. Collaboration with CAD Drafters for drawing creation, performing fit, form, and function checking, and working as a team player are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, you must adhere to Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Program, Quality Policy, safety rules, and company policies. **Job Requirements:** **Required:** - Minimum 5+ years of CAD engineering and design experience. - Proficiency in Creo software. - Strong engineering knowledge. - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Surface package and drafting experience. **Preferred:** - Manufacturing experience. - Windchill experience. - Background in the oil & gas industry. - Master's degree in CAD.
