Surface Grinder

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:Setting up and operating surface grinding machines, including horizontal and vertical spindle machines.
• Material Preparation:Selecting and mounting appropriate grinding wheels based on material and desired finish.
• Precision Grinding:Precisely grinding surfaces to achieve specified dimensions, flatness, and surface finish.
• Quality Control:Inspecting workpieces using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Machine Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, coolant level checks, and wheel dressing.
• Safety:Following safety procedures for machine operation, wheel mounting, and workpiece handling.
• Blueprint Reading:Interpreting blueprints, machining instructions, and other technical documents.
• Problem Solving:Troubleshooting machine issues, resolving dimensional discrepancies, and addressing quality concerns.
• Continuous Improvement:Contributing to process improvements for cycle time and surface quality.
• Material Handling:Moving and positioning workpieces using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Work Area Maintenance:Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
• Collaboration:Working with other team members, including quality control, toolroom, and production planning.

Pay: Up to ₹32,000.00 per month
