Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:Receiving, storing, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment. Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Procurement Support:Assisting with the procurement process by preparing purchase requisitions, contacting suppliers, and tracking deliveries.
• Material Handling:Loading, unloading, and moving materials, often with the use of hand tools or machinery like cranes.
• Preparation:Preparing metal for fabrication by cleaning, scraping, or applying protective coatings.
• Organization and Maintenance:Ensuring the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Coordination:Collaborating with other departments, such as production and supply chain, to ensure materials are available when needed.
