Job Description

Description

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our construction team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in installing steel reinforcement for concrete structures. This role requires a skilled individual who is knowledgeable about construction practices and can work effectively on-site to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Install and secure steel reinforcement bars (rebar) for concrete structures as per design specifications.
Cut and bend steel reinforcement according to project requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on site.
Collaborate with other construction workers and site supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Perform quality checks on the installed reinforcement to ensure structural integrity.

Skills and Qualifications

2-6 years of experience in steel fixing or related construction roles.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques related to steel reinforcement.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
Good physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
