As a member of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team at Macquarie, you will have a crucial role in managing Macquarie's Corporate Data Platform. The businesses relying on this platform for various purposes such as data science, self-service analytics, operational analytics, and reporting will benefit from your contributions. In your position, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of essential platform capabilities utilizing AWS and Kubernetes. Your role will involve fostering collaboration, ensuring platform stability, defining technical roadmaps, leading architectural decisions, and designing, developing, and deploying new features for Macquarie's Corporate Data Hub Platform. Furthermore, you will work on enhancing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices while advocating for security, compliance, and risk management within the platform. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 7+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud/DevOps/Data Engineer, with leadership responsibilities - Proficiency in AWS cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Big Data processing technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark, Starburst Presto) - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and experience in Agile/DevOps environments - Extensive architectural and design pattern knowledge, with a track record of building consensus and driving technical decisions - A proactive approach towards ensuring production stability, managing costs, and implementing platform improvements If you are enthusiastic about contributing to a better future and interested in a role at Macquarie, we welcome your application.
