Staff Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the technical architecture, design, and development of scalable backend systems using Golang and microservices.
• Architect and integrate AI/ML models into production-grade systems to solve complex business problems.
• Lead high-impact projects and cross-functional engineering efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to senior engineers and engineering teams.
• Set and enforce engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Product, Data Science, and DevOps to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Own system design decisions and ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of services.

Required Skills:

• Golang

  : Expertise in designing and developing backend services using Golang in production environments.

• Microservices

  : Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, service orchestration, API design, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• AI/ML

  : Strong hands-on experience with designing, building, and deploying ML models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.

• Cloud Platforms

  : Proficient in AWS, GCP, or Azure, with strong understanding of cloud-native application development.

• Databases

  : Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

• DevOps & CI/CD

  : Familiar with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools and pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in AI/ML conferences or journals.
• Excellent problem-solving, system design, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
